Ramon is a freelance senior editor based in Melbourne (Naarm).

Over 10 years he has cut work for iconic brands including Monash, Qantas, Weet-Bix, Medibank and Mastercard, bringing to the edit suite a flexible skillset (offline + After Effects) and reliable speed amid tight deadlines.

Ramon’s complimentary skills as a screenwriter give him insight into narrative structure to craft impactful stories that connect with viewers, particularly with interview-based branded content and documentaries, a passion of his:

Ramon’s doco short Dances (2018) for ABC iView earned QueerScreen’s Emerging Queer Filmmaker Award, which he followed with a nomination for Best Feature Editing at DocEdge for Camino Skies (2019), then re-teamed with the filmmakers for the cult-expose Gloriavale (2022). After cutting the Antarctica-set climate change short Frozen Waters (2024), Ramon sought out more projects focusing on environmental and social justice: Moort (2026) and Ganibarra (2026), both of which explore the treatment of dingoes from a First Nations perspective. He is attached as story producer/editor on the in-development feature length version of Ganibarra by first-time directors Sonya Takau and Alix Livingstone, while currently producing and editing features The Middle Treasure (Mongolia) and Echoes Of The Marshes (Iraq/EU) alongside filmmaker Tilmann Stewart (targeting 2027-2028 releases).

Ramon’s hobbies include playing the piano and lecturing people about Whitney Houston until they won’t look him in the eye. Thus, he is well-equipped for remote work.
